It appears news surrounding one of the few incidents at the BET Hip-Hop Awards 2012 refuses to die down. As it is known, a scuffle had broken out between MMG‘s Gunplay and a few camp members associated with 50 Cent. While Gunplay made a visit to an Atlanta radio station, he confirmed that his chain was taken during the run-in. 50 Cent now has the chain and he decided to wear it as he went bowling at Lucky Strikes in D.C. The Hip-Hop community suffered a tragic lost back in August when Chris Lighty passed away. Tonight, during the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards, artists such as 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot helped rejoice the life of Chris by performing some of their classics while the crowd rapped every word. Incase you’ve been hiding under a rock this past weekend then you missed a lot of controversy surrounding the MMG camp and the 2012 BET Awards which was in Atlanta. We’ve heard tons of stories and tons of explanations about what happened but all of the stories were different. From the beginning of the incident, there had always been speculation surrounding the idea of suicide being the cause of death for the late Hip-Hop Manager and Violator CEO, Chris Lighty. Now there is a new twist. Lead investigator Les Levine told Fox 5 New York that he believes that there may be a little more to the story than what’s been mentioned, and suicide is not one of them.
