50 Cent hooks up with two of Atlanta’s finest in T.I. & Jeezy to remix LoveRance‘s “Up” record. I like this song a lot better than the single he recently put out with Jeremih. 50 Cent is attempting to make his comeback to the rap game in 2012, and here is the lead single that he has heavily talked about for the past few weeks featuring Jeremih, whom he works exceptionally well with. New album from 50 dropping this year and hopefully it’s better than his past efforts.
50 Cent is back to his mixtape ways. The fans demanded this and he delivers. I’m sure we can all agree that 50 has not been the same since Get Rich Or Die Trying, at least not to me anyway. Whether or not he’s making music, 50 Cent still manages to find a way to keep his name in some sort of conversation. This time around, he sat down with the folks at the Wall Street Journal. The two entities get to the bottom of why Curtis decided to entire the headphone game when it appears to be such a common venture. He also goes in depth on how to deal with online piracy as well as his Vitamin Water and Street King business ventures.
In related news, Fif is preparing for the release of his new mixtape Big 10 – his own way to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of his game changing 50 Cent Is The Future. And I mean game changing.
50 Cent recently revealed that he will be dropping a 10 track EP in honor of his first mixtape which dropped 10 years ago. Here is the first offering from the tape. I wish 50 would just stop with the EP’s and drop another classic album like he did with Get Rich Or Die Trying. Well that’s if he still has it in him.
From the looks of things, the top of 2012 will belong to 50 Cent. In honor of his 5th album coming in January, XXL has 50 Cent on the cover of all five issues of December/January’s magazine. Below are the four other covers along with an excerpt from the magazine which hits shelves on December 6th.
“I don’t see what I fell in love with,” he says. “So now I gotta make music that reflects what N.W.A made. I have to make music that has the moments that Nas had. I have to make music that has what Biggie offered.” He also discusses his currently untitled 5th solo album: “For me, I’m still up against what I’ve done,” he says. “So in order to top it, I know it’s a difficult task. You know, I see the bloggers. My audience hasn’t grown with me. They keep saying, “Aw, man, I want the old 50!” ’Cause those people, it would take them on a safari. I was bringing them close enough to the animals, without being able to get hurt. I was taking them into my neighborhood, where you can very well get your ass killed.”
If you haven’t noticed, 50 Cent has been on a roll lately with releasing all of this music in promotion to his “Street King” Energy Drink. Well it seems as if 50 is not happy with the way the companies and politicians are treating him and others. He expressed his feelings toward these issues in a PSA via Facebook, which you can read after the jump
