It’s been a pretty rough month or two for A$AP Rocky with his album leaking entirely too early, which some believe will effect his sales but it seems as if Rocky has been pretty optimistic about the premature leak. To help further promote his debut “Live.Long.A$AP“, he headed to Hot97 with the A$AP Mob and let go of freestyle.

SpaceGhostPurrp Rallies Raider Klan For Trayvon Martin

"Trayvon Martin" "Justice" "Florida"

A$AP MOB affiliate and Raider Klan leader, SpaceGhostPurpp, has been doing much more than just raising the phonk these days.  Gearing up for his premiere commercial release with independent record label, 4AD, SGP has also been consumed by the latest tragedy in the news that has struck not only our community as a whole, but his hometown community in Florida with great concern and anguish.

Sitting down with VICE Magazine, SpaceGhost shared his past encounters with Trayvon Martin who also resided in Carol City, Florida; he was clear about the civil unrest he’s witnessed throughout the years, and didn’t hesitate to openly speak on his by-all-means state of mind for justice.  Here’s a few of our favorite quotes:

In high school, dudes my age used to just stay outside smoking and shit. I would see him walking to school, but he wouldn’t be fucking with anybody. But I remember his face. When I heard he went to the school around my area, I was like, “Damn, that is fucked up.”

If they don’t do justice about this shit, people in the neighborhood are going to start acting the fuck up. They won’t give a fuck, and I won’t give a fuck either. You don’t shoot an innocent child.

Everything in Florida is fucked up. The schools are fucked up. The neighborhood people always have some sort of hatred against each other. And there is always some stupid shit going on. And this shooting just topped it off.

To stop us, they are going to have to destroy the Motherland, and it’s not going down like that. I dare all the racist motherfuckers to go to the jungles of Africa and try to kill every African. I dare racists to go to every project and public housing in America and try to get us. I dare every racist motherfucker who doesn’t like blacks to go to Haiti and try to wipe out every Haitian. It’s not going down. They can’t stop us.

With no intentions of letting up anytime soon, SGP released two musical counterparts that seem to express a bit of his sentiment about the situation.  The first is “No Evidence,” the first official release off his upcoming “Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp” due out June 12th, which “compiles both new and old material, tracking the early years of this intoxicating prodigal talent.”

The second is a classic SGP mix, justifiably titled “Phuck Zimmerman Mixx Raider Klan Phonk;” including the sounds of Vince Staples, Denzel C., Ethelwulf, Amber London, and Keynyata.

Can You Respect The Phonk?
