Today, Mavado drops the new track “Rise Up” that features Kovict’s Akon and Rick Ross. Taylor Gang & Konvict Muzik team up for new collaboration video that just dropped today. The video assists the cut titled “Let It Go”, brought to you by Wiz Khalifa and featuring long time music-maker Akon. “Let It Go” portrays the struggle of a common goers everyday life. Dealing with personal battles and trying to make it out of your current situation, whether it be stripping for the young actress in this film, or taking your anger out through boxing like the young gentleman represented. As Wiz blows smoke and Akon croons over the hook “Let It Go, Let It Go”, the story unfolds and the video is a true inspiration for someone in a tough time. Check out the visual after the jump! Konvict Music Connoisseur Akon is back today with a strip club inspired smash titled “Dirty Work”. This is a hot number, as Akon encourages the stripper model chick to get down and do her dirty work.. hence the title “Dirty Work”. Well, look what we have here. Akon revisits the streets on his latest mixtape, “Konkrete Jungle” with features from the likes of Fabolous, E-40, and Busta Rhymes. Listen for remixes of Ca$h Out’s “Cashin’ Out”, Future’s “Same Damn Time” and even Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” on this DJ Whoo Kid and Evil Empire hosted project. Cash Out capitalizes on all of the momentum he has with his hit single “Cash Out” by recruiting Yo Gotti, Fabolous, Young Jeezy & Akon for the official remix. I have no idea why Akon is on this remix, but nonetheless, it’s an okay remix. Take away Akon and add 2 Chainz, then you would have a pretty good remix.

A preview of this track surfaced the internet earlier today, but Flex premiered it in its entirety during his set at 7 P.M. This will more than likely serve as the official single off of Akon‘s upcoming album entitled “Stadium” but it has not been confirmed just yet. He recruits Chris Brown for the feature who’s “F.A.M.E” album actually just went Gold. Akon’s “Stadium” album is set for a September release.

Dre had already hit the stage for a pretty good performance with Em & Ri-Ri but he didn’t stop there. For the first time ever, The Doc hit the stage with long time colleague Snoop along with Akon to perform “Kush” which is supposedly off of Detox. This was at Interscope‘s afterparty for the Grammys.
