In the newest issue of Interview, the soulful songstress Erykah Badu gets to chop it up with Kendrick Lamar for a dope Question and Answer session. Badu taps into questions about K.Dot’s family life, his top ten MC’s (in no particular order), and even offers him some veteran advice for the future of his career. Though we’re sure by now that everyone’s heard the quick snippet of Hova’s new track “100$ Bill,” Warner Bros. has released a brief teaser of “The Great Gatsby”, featuring Jay-Z’s new track. The song in full (at least we hope) can be heard on the soundtrack for the upcoming film which was also scored by Jay himself. This snippet is much shorter, but still dope to see it in tandem with the film. The soundtrack will also feature collabs from Fergie, Will. I. A new Beyonce track is released today that goes a bit bigger than the solo career of Mrs.Carter; the track “Back To Black” is a featured song off of the approaching “Great Gatsby” film to be released this May. “Back To Black” is a collaboration that features the legendary Andre 3K, and a soultry, sexy, seductive Beyonce sensually moaning the lyrics that take her back to a deep, black and promiscuous love. ATL Based rapper Big Boi took the mic recently at T.I.’s listening party for this Tuesday’s release of “Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head” and shared some opinions on his former group member Andre 3000. Andre has been teaming up with a number of different artist recently including Ke$A, Lil Wayne and more, and Big Boi makes it clear that he approves.
