Soul Singer Melanie Fiona, the music mastermind by the recent “MF Life” album who also formally sticks to a little bit of her Brooklyn essence by referring to her alter ego as “Felony Miona” hits the internet today with a nice little cover. This time she lays down her musical expertise to the track “Bad” originally performed by Wale. Very far from the common cover however, as Melanie sits there and records all beat sounds made by her mouth on pro-tools, loops them, plays them back and sings the cover song as if it’s an actual record? My Goodness, what a perfect mixture of a video that goes so eloquently with the meaning of the song. MMG Rapper Wale premiers his new visual “Bad” featuring Tiara Thomas today on BET’s 106 & Park, and we are impressed. The video features co-star Bria Murphy who is the daughter of actor Eddie Murphy and supermodel Nicole Murphy; and we will go on the record to say that no one else would have been better at the part. Watching the video the entire time, you might lose focus on anything Wale is trying to say being so caught up with how gorgeous Bria is. Take a look at the new video after the jump!

MMG rapper Wale has seemingly taken a break from the pumping out consecutive hits, although we have been given the single “Bad”; Wale’s appearance in the media as slipped. This is all has not gone in vain however, as the “Lotus Flower Bomb” rapper has been in the studio working on his 3rd solo album project, one in which we are sure will be nothing short of a creative masterpiece. Wale dropped this new album titled through an album trailer and you’ll have to hit the jump to check out what the title will be. 

While we were stuffing our faces with Turkey and Mac & Cheese, the debut of BAD 25, the documentary of the making of Michael Jackson’s BAD aired on ABC! The documentary features interviews from those that worked with MJ on the album, and others that were involved in what is arguably the album that propelled the King of Pop into international super-stardom. Nyemiah Supreme is back with a new video titled Juice, which is a track off of her latest mixtape Bad. The MC, straight out of Jamaica, Queens, is determined to bring back that old NYC music it is known for. That real gritty sound, except with a female over the beat. She successful fulfills that mission in this video, which even features some choreography, something that blew me away. Classrooms are meant for learning; although this particular one lightweight reminded me of the one from Class Act. You know, the one Blade Brown was supposed to be in. Still, classrooms are intended to expose a student to people, places and things he or she had previously no clue about heading into the lesson. In this case, the classroom is the computer you’re sitting at and Nyemiah Supreme is the instructor. “Real Talk 101″ is found on her mixtape BAD and finds the MC (I will not say “femcee”) attempting to open eyes to all her fellow classmates on the dynamic of relationships and how both sexes portray themselves.
