America, Welcome Beyonce to Instagram!

The victory of President Obama last night had the Hip-Hop community “on one.” Young Jeezy, who is responsible for Barack’s first un-official theme song “My President is Black,” released a new track entitled “We Done It Again.” Rick Ross let the country know that there was still nothing holding him back by releasing the “Hold Me Back” remix right after Obama was declared the winner of the 2012 election. Alicia Keys Supports Obama Campaign in Philadelphia

This week, the beautiful Ms. Alicia Keys attended the Women Vote 2012 Summit at the Philadelphia Convention Center to speak on getting the vote out for the re-election of President Barack Obama. The “New Day” singer also greeted fans and helped out at the Organizing For America Volunteer event, getting first-time voters registered. Barack Obama Recognizes His Thug Motivation

During the White House Correspondents Dinner for this year, Barack Obama addressed many topics for the night, one being the if elected, what would take place the second term. Interestingly noted, he stated that during the first term he sang Al Green, but during the second term he would be reciting a Young Jeezy verse. For those that remember, during the 2008 election period, moments after Barack Obama was elected, Young Jeezy release a track titled My President is Black. This would not mark the first a  Hip-Hop/Rap artist was mentioned by Barack during his presidency, but rather the first time that he would sing during a speech. Big tings ah gwan!
