While in L.A. for the 2012 BET Awards, MTV caught up with the Young Money Cash Money bosses Mack Maine and Birdman. During the brief interview, the two were asked about Lil Wayne‘s upcoming “I Am Not A Human Being II” album and they gave high praise for Weezy’s current work. Birdman even calls the album “A Perfect Work Of Art”. The first installment of I Am Not A Human Being was pretty good, we’ll see if he can top that in the fall when part two is released.
Flex continues to dominate airwaves with exclusive after exclusive and tonight is no different. Birdman brings out the stars to help him stunt in the remix to his latest single “Born Stunna“. I thought I heard a few shots thrown at a certain someone, so listen carefully to see who the shots were thrown at.
This one needs to go down in the music history books. Cash Money’s Birdman and Slim Williams made the cover for Billboard’s Urban Power List, available on stands now. Check out the photo shoot clip after the jump!

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock this past week, then you are well aware of all of the controversy that has been surrounding Drake. Well recently MTV caught up with Birdman in Atlanta and during their brief chat, Birdman gave his thoughts on how he felt about the situation and what the YMCMB family plans on doing to move forward from the situation(s). Very well said by Birdamn if I may say so myself.
The three head honchos over at YMCMB all link up with director Colin Tilley for the official visual to go along with Birdman‘s single “Dark Shades” off of his “Bigga Than Life” album. Also below is Birdman and Mack Maine‘s appearance on 106 & Park earlier this evening. Bigga Than Life coming soon.
Money, money, money, bags! YMCMB and MMG team up yet again for this Birdman and Rick Ross heat titled Born Stunna. This will appear on Stunna’s Bigger Than Life album, due out later this year.
French Montana recruits yet another star studded line-up for the remix to his “Everythings A Go” track. Not quite as good as the “Shot Caller” remix but it’s still a pretty well put together remix. Look out for a single in the next few weeks from French as his Bad Boy debut album “Excuse My French” hits stores July 17th.

Who is having the best week ever? CHIEF KEEF! First, the 16-year-old Chicago spitter gets Kanye West, Pusha T, Jadakiss, and Big Sean to be featured on his “I Don’t Like” Remix . Now, Cash Money’s Birdman is on his tracks. In a recent interview with MTV News, Birdman said,
“I like him, he kinda reminds me of us. [He's] out the streets, I think he’s swagged up and I’m definitely talking to his people and I’d like to see if we can make it pop, see if I can see if I can get him to be down with the team.”
Birdman also went on to say, “And I’ma do whatever it takes to make it happen.” Is this an official invite to the Cash Money Family? I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see what happens. You can watch the entire interview above.
