Who is having the best week ever? CHIEF KEEF! First, the 16-year-old Chicago spitter gets Kanye West, Pusha T, Jadakiss, and Big Sean to be featured on his “I Don’t Like” Remix . Now, Cash Money’s Birdman is on his tracks. In a recent interview with MTV News, Birdman said,

“I like him, he kinda reminds me of us. [He's] out the streets, I think he’s swagged up and I’m definitely talking to his people and I’d like to see if we can make it pop, see if I can see if I can get him to be down with the team.”

Birdman also went on to say, “And I’ma do whatever it takes to make it happen.” Is this an official invite to the Cash Money Family? I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see what happens. You can watch the entire interview above.

Behind The Video: DJ Khaled- “Take It To The Head”

As if we don’t love DJ Khaled’s ”Take It To The Head” enough already, he’s now creating visuals to accompany the summer anthem. Khaled called on Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne to be featured on the track and in the video. Other friends like Drake, Birdman and Busta Rhymes also made cameo appearances in what looks like a mini movie in the making. With elaborate sets and special effects all over the place, Khaled is definitely attempting to make the video as popular as the song. “Take It To The Head” is the first single off his upcoming release, “Kiss The Ring.”

Birdman Announces Upcoming Cash Money Film

First, there was music, and then there were books. Now, the Cash Money family is tackling another media outlet; movies. The label’s Co-Owner, Birdman, recently shared the details on the upcoming film entitled “Rich Gang“ with XXL Magazine.

“We start shooting that in the fall. That’s the whole team, that’s like a 2012 Balla Blocking. The Rich Gang movie is about the team. Everybody is going to be the star of it, but Wayne will be the center of it. It’s about the team, everybody that’s on the label. … I would like them [to] just be themselves. I’m not gonna tell no n*gga to go to acting school. Just be yourself. We’re excited as a brand about it. Tyga, everybody is like, ‘Stunna, let’s do a movie.’ We got a few of them lined up and we gonna shoot them.”

We already know Drake and Nicki have acting experience and great Lil Wayne impersonations, but it will be nice to see how the rest of the CMB family shows off their acting skills. While there is no anticipated release date,  it may take a while to film with all the artists’ busy schedules. Can’t wait to see it in theaters.
