Yesterday made ten years since Clipse released their CLASSIC debut album “Lord Willin“. Just The Facts managed to catch up with 1/2 of the Clipse and discuss the album and the thought process that went into the album. After viewing this, it just makes me even more anxious for another Clipse album. Hopefully No Malice & Pusha T can make this happen very soon. Part one of the interview above, part two after the jump.

Video: No Malice – “Death Of Malice Vlog”

From now on, we should refer to him as No Malice instead of just plain Malice. In the video above, No Malice explains the reasoning behind the name change and officially buries Malice. “Hear Ye Him” coming soon. Hopefully we can squeeze another Clipse project in the mix this year, it’s well overdue and needed.

It’s always good to see the Thornton brothers together making music even though their pursuing solo interests at the moment. The above footage of Malice, Pusha and Travis Barker on the set of their “Come N Get It” video. The song is slated to appear on Trav’s March 15 Give The Drummer Some.

Since we’re on the subject, head over here to cop Mal’s new book Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind And Naked.

It may lack the history of the Apollo, but the Highline Ballroom has seen quite a few memorable performances over the past few years. Last night was no exception.

A packed house jammed inside the Highline to see Malice and Pusha T tear down the stage – and they were not disappointed. Prior to the Thornton brothers hitting the stage, Charles Hamilton and XV warmed the audience up. After that, Clipse hit the stage to a thunderous applause. It was the set you’d normally expect from the Virginia lyricists – “Keys Open Doors,” “I’m Good,” “Kinda Like A Big Deal,” “Mr. Me Too” and what is a Clipse show without hearing “Grindin’” at least once. Fellow Re-Up Gang member Ab Liva would eventually join the two on stage.

Approximately midway through their set, the music stopped and to the crowd’s astonishment, “The champ is here!” began blaring through the venue’s speakers. Yonkers’ own, Jadakiss, came out and ran through a brief set which included one of his first hits “Knock Yourself Out.”

Afterwards, The Clipse took some time out to chop it up about a few topics pertinent at the moment. A few days ago Pusha announced that he and Malice would be working on solo album – so he offered more light on that revelation. Also, the two spoke on what life was like in their circle since the conviction of their manager Anthony “Geezy” Gonzales for drug trafficking who is currently serving 32 years in a Virginia prison. Till The Casket Drops is in stores now.

Turns out a recent performance wasn’t the only thing that had Pusha and Malice in La La Land.  The two were also in the studio with rocker extraordinaire, Travis Barker, working on his new album. I’m sure we’ll hear the results of this studio session in due time, but until then, this pictures will have to suffice.

A whole album from Travis Barker though? Consider that purchased.
