Drake-Headlines

How do you top making national news about a brawl but not get in trouble for saying too much? Throwing indirect shots, that’s how. And that’s exactly what Drake did while in New York on the Club Paradise Tour. Security was a little tighter than usual, and rightfully so. Drake had a few things he need to get off his chest and it seems as if they were about Chris Brown. He shared the following “inner thoughts” with all those that came to party at Club Paradise.

“When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things. But the only thing I gave a f**k about was that I was in New York City tonight.

You were having a good night so far, you done had a couple drinks, you done met a couple thangs, and then the ni**a in the corner start looking at you funny and you feel a motherfu**in’ way about it. And then somebody going to the bathroom bumps you with their elbow and you like, ‘What the f**k?’ At that time in my life, there’s really only one ni**a that I wanna hear” {Round of Applause by Waka Flocka Flame}.

But Drake wasn’t just there to make a few jokes, he had plenty of surprise guests for fans to enjoy like Busta Rhymes, A$AP Rocky, Dipset’s Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Cam’ron. You can watch part of the “subliminal diss” above.

The Club Paradise Tour rolled into Wantagh, NY Saturday night (June 16) as scheduled and as headliner Drake promised, New York was given a Summer Jam do-over as the Canadian MC brought out Busta Rhymes, The Weeknd and the A$AP Mob during his set. The Nikon at Jones Beach Theater was filled to the brim with excitement through opening acts Meek Mill, J. Cole, French Montana, and Waka Flocka Flame but the place erupted when Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Cam’ron took the stage in a Dipset reunion.

Watch as the Harlem trio perform a set that included “Ballin’”, “Dipset (Santana’s Town)”, and “I Really Mean It” – definitely legendary things going down on the Club Paradise Tour. Keep it up, Drizzy!

“Damn, I swear sports and music are so synonymous. Cause we want to be them, and they want to be us”.

Currently on Drake’s Club Paradise Tour, J.Cole, Waka Flocka, 2 Chainz, and French Montana take a break from the mic to pick up a ball. They decided to play a game of 21, which is every man for himself, including foul shots ( or 3pt shots ) after a made basket. It seemed like Cole was taking it back to his high school and college days when he played ball, 2 Chainz is clearly the trash talker, while Waka tries to go hard in the paint, and French Montana just maintains his nonchalant demeanor.

Make sure you on the look out for Drake’s Club Paradise tour, also including Meek Mill, coming to a city near you. Waka seems to think Cole should have got a scholarship for playing ball. Check out the video above and let us know what you think?

“That boy good. He need to put that mic down. That boy needs a scholarship” – Waka Flocka
