One of the hardest working rappers in the game today is the New Orleans born Curren$y. He is currently working on releasing his next project New Jet City that is scheduled to release on Super Bowl Sunday, and to give us insight on its creation Spitta provides us “5 Minutes” a Jet Life Film and Street Customs Media Division presentation. In the video we catch a preview of the track “Choosin” featuring Rick Ross and Wiz Khalifa as well as backstage and live show footage of a recent concert at the New Orleans House of Blues. Announced via Twitter earlier by way of Curren$y, here is a new track from Mac Miller featuring the Jetlife general himself, titled Cold. It’s produced by Chuck Inglish and yet another simple reminder of what a force Mac is. Jet Life and Maybach Music collide for the release of New Orleans rapper Curren$y’s debut single from his forthcoming album “The Stoned Immaculate.” The track is “What It Look Like” and he joines forces with Wale. The video tells the story of a true Jet Life MC; it begins with Curren$y exiting a jet and performing in an airport. Wale is also a part of the visuals and so is a small orchestra. We can expect “The Stoned Immaculate.” on June 5th.Read More

For those interested in supporting the crew’s weed habit, head over to iTunes and scoop the album up. Pending you can find the hard copy, it’d make a great stocking stuffer this time of the year, too.Read More

Fueled by the magical powers of THC, Spit Vicious lets loose of the second peak into his upcoming DJ Drama co-signed mixtape Verde Terrace. Using MMG’s “Pandemonium,” Curren$y does what he does giving you yet another track from him to add to the archives. If math serves me correctly, the tape with Dram will be his fourth this year. The title is always up for debate, but I’m not sure if there is a harder working individual in rap in terms of projects.
And keep in mind, that tape with Wiz and Big Sean still has to drop as well as Pilot Talk 3. I’m not sure what the record is, but he’s going for it. In the right hands, weed can be lead to excessive productivity.Read More
