Despite Hurricane Sandy closing many stores in the Tri-State area, Meek Mill lands the No. 2 spot on Billboard 200. His debut studio album “Dreams & Nightmares” sold 165,000. Unfortunately, Meek was about 15,000 units short of his projected sales. But as projected last week, Taylor Swift’s “Red” album takes the No. 1 spot for a second week, selling 344,000 copies. Lil’ Wayne’s new clothing line TRUKFIT debuted last weekend at the Long Beach, California Agenda trade show. Last night he introduced the line to buyers, retail executives, and press at Hotel Americano in New York City. TRUKFIT, is an acronym for The Reason You Kill For It. As of late, Lil’ Wayne’s fashion has been one to talk about, but he takes his strong passion for skate boarding in consideration for this one. Featuring bold graphics and colorways, includes T-shirts, raglans, and snapbacks, and will run nationwide at Zumiez starting in February. The line is also moderately priced, Trukfit, as described by the rapper: “will be the best clothing line ever.”
TRUKFIT is described as “a brand representing independent kids from any walk of life—regardless of race, class, color, or income.”
