During a visit with Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg, Big Sean and Pusha T were interrogated on “The Realness” segment of the show. Big Sean explains that he means no disrespect with his “B.I.G” ad-lib and that legends such as Jay-Z and Diddy have no problem with it as well. On the other side of the table, Pusha T was asked about his alleged beef with Lil Wayne and put all of it to rest as he says there is no real issue between the two and there never was. “Dedication 4″ Tape drops on Livemixtapes on Sept 3rd!
Lil Wayne announced the release date for his much-anticipated mixtape Dedication 4, hosted by DJ Drama via Twitter. “D4 aug-30,” tweeted @LilTuneChi. Originally it was supposed to drop August 15, but not wanting to take away from his friend 2 Chainz album release, Weezy decided to push it back.
A couple guys in hip-hop who have controlled the headlines lately have been 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, for obvious reasons. The Playaz Circle/G.O.O.D Music (unofficially) veteran dropped his highly anticipated Based On A T.R.U Story album on August 14, a day before the expected release of Weezy’s Dedication 4, the next addition to the Dedication series hosted by DJ Drama. Wayne came out last week during a NYC concert and t0ld the crowd he decided to push the album back to give his good friend 2 Chainz and his album some breathing room, a generous and surprising, yet not-surprising move by the two friends.
