The question of music fans across America has been, what Beyonce will be doing during the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Performance? She dazzled us with a show that featured a Destiny’s Child reunion, a lot of dancers and a dazzling fire and light show. Running through her classics like “Crazy In Love”, recent songs like “Single Ladies” and Destiny Child songs “Independent Women”, Beyonce put on a lively performance before closing it out with “Halo”. How unfortunate for all you Destiny’s Child stans who were praying that the online rumors were actually true of the group setting off a comeback performance during the 2013 Superbowl with Beyonce. Well, the rumors are false and Michelle Williams, former member of the Destiny’s Child group is here to set the record straight. The singer deads all light that she will be joining Beyonce & Kelly Rowland, and plugs in the fact that her new gospel album is getting ready to drop in the Spring. After announcing that Destiny’s Child will not only release a compilation album titled Love Songs, that will be completely dedicated to romance and they’ll perform at this years Super Bowl but, they also release a new single titled “Nuclear.” The track is produced Pharrell and today you get to hear it first, it’s been about 8 years since we heard a new Destiny’s Child track. Mathew Knowles, Beyonce’s father and the manager to Destiny’s Child recently sat down for a chat with the Huffington Post, where he elaborated on the release of two albums, mixing old material and new, to be released in the fall and later in the future. Knowles also indicated the possibility of a Destiny’s Child reunion tour within the next five years that would showcase both hits from the trio as well as their solo projects. Oh, what I would give to see them come together live again!
Destiny’s Child reunited yesterday (Feb. 14)  at Phillipe Chow in West Hollywood for lunch celebrating Kelly’s 30th birthday and Valentines Day. Also accompanying  the trio was Beyonce’s cousin Angie and sister Solange. Guess we can finally put those B. & Rowland fall out rumors to rest huh?
