Last night Dipset held their 10th anniversary of the classic “Diplomatic Immunity” album. Everyone was in attendance rocking the stage like old times and they even had a few guests come along such as Waka Flocka and Lloyd Banks. An interesting part of the set came when Waka was performing his verse to “848” and he rearranged his “Free Gucci” line to say “Fuck Gucci“. I’m sure Gucci is going to have a thing or two to say about this, well that is if he isn’t in jail by the time he watches the video. After the jump you can view the re-cap of the entire Dipset performance.

Lil Wayne X Juelz Santana “I Cant Feel My Face” Still Underway

While all the hype and curiosity for the awaited duel collabo of Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana seemed to die down, it only takes one comment to get the streets buzzing again.  In an recent interview with BET, Santana opened up about the things that has stood in the way of their collaborative effort.

“I spoke to Wayne recently, before the interview and right after the interview, we gon get it,” Santana explained to BET.com. “I guess at the time it’s like he said he moved on, people making it seem like he moved on and he was saying that he was never going to do the I Can’t Feel My Face. We spoke about that, to make a long story short we definitely going to get back into that.”

In a previous interview, Lil Wayne stated the halt on the I Cant Feel My Face LP was due to Juelz’ legal issues.  Juelz confirmed:

“He did reach out to me when he came home ‘like yo I think we need to capitalize on the album,” Juelz said. “At the time my studio had got raided by police so you know it was kind of a real tight situation for me. I was used to doing things one way and I couldn’t really do it that way. This was the studio I had for five years. I had a lot of music that was lost in the process so it was just a down time for me.”

“He had just came home he was ready, he sent me a couple records I didn’t really send them back at the time,” Santana added.

Now that the two are back on their game, working on their solo projects, it’s believed the album should come together sooner than later. How much later, we’ll just have to see.
