Donnis – I Know Ya Type

Donnis continues rolling out the tracks, as he recently celebrated one of his recent tracks ‘Gimmie’ landing as a new joint on 106 & Park. Today, he brings us ‘I Know Ya Type’, featuring some hot production from producer Block Beattaz. Check out the track above. Perhaps there’s a new project we can expect before the year is up from the young artist?

Are you about that life? If not, don’t worry, Donnis and Juicy J have got you covered. Last week, Donnis put out a snippet of the track and the fans have been waiting on it to drop every since. Well the wait is over and it’s finally here along with Snack Pack Vol. 2, so be sure to download that if you haven’t already.

Let’s say you have some Internet savvy. Let’s also say you like to keep up with the newest music. If both of those statements pertain to you, then you know all about The Weeknd and his House of Balloons mixtape by now. It’s been the most talked about R&B debut release this year outside of Frank Ocean’s Nostalgia, Ultra. Maybe it was the thrill of the unknown aspect the tape presented and the new sound it encompassed, but it is hard to turn anywhere these days without hearing his name and the praise that usually accompanies it.

That being said, Donnis is obviously a fan as he just let loose of his remix to “The Loft.” Take it and add it to you archives. Lofts are great places though. The stuff of legends, some say. There was one in the area where I went to undergrad at. Man, it went down there. And that’s about where I’ll leave it at.

I’ll be in Atlanta this weekend, so I’ll make sure to give this quite a few spins in attempts to truly immerse myself in the environment. The XXL Sophomore, Donnis, let loose of his spring fling mixtape Southern Lights today which features the likes of XV, Gorilla Zoe, Young Dro and more. What I’m particularly interested in is to hear is “Blackberry Molasses” produced by the legendary Organized Noize. Every time I see their name, I just this classic Outkast and anyboy who has the privilege to work with them has to undoubtedly produce quality music. That may be jumping the gun, but a legendary resume’ will do that for you.

Anywho, for those in the New York City area, be sure to check out the official release party tomorrow from 8-11 at Bunker on 9th Ave and 13th.
