Like Michael Jordan, Lil Wayne doesn’t forget a slight. Last week, the YMCMB CEO was thrown out of the Miami Heat’s American Airlines Arena for allegedly making a gun gesture at a fan, causing the “long hair don’t care” MC to voice his displeasure via Twitter: “So I’m @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#€k da Heat.”

Considering that Tunechi had become accustomed to sitting courtside at NBA games and that, according to him, he has been banned from all NBA events because of his beef with the team, the I Am Not A Human Being II spitter relayed his feelings on getting snubbed from attending the NBA’s biggest weekend of the year in the only way he knew how: onstage at the Beats By Dre afterparty at Houston’s Stereo Live.

2012 NBA Champions: The Miami Heat; Lebron James Finals MVP

Rick Ross won’t be the only one in Miami that can tell people to Kiss the Ring. Last Night, The Miami Heat clinched their 4th victory versus the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2012 NBA Finals, making them the 2012 Champions. 121-106 was the final score last night with noteworthy performances from more than just the Heat’s Big 3 (Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh). Mike Miller hit an astounding 7 three-pointers last night. But the man of the hour for sure was Lebron James who was also named Finals MVP. James became only the fifth player in NBA history to score a triple-double in a game that ended the series. James had the following to say about the victory.

“I’m happy now that eight years later, nine years later since I’ve been drafted, that I can finally say that I’m a champion, and I did it the right way. I didn’t shortcut anything. You know, I put a lot of hard work and dedication in it, and hard work pays off. It’s a great moment for myself.”

Highlights from the game are available above in case you missed anything last night.

Minutes after game ended, Nike aired an ad featuring Lebron’s journey to victory. The ad is available below.

Congratulations to the Heat!

Fashion Forward Finals: NBA Finals 2012 Look Book

It was this photo of Russell Westbrook that caught my attention. NBA players need a little more credits; or at least their stylists do if they have one. The evolution of style that has taken place over the last few years among the players during post game press conferences is to be commended. Gone are the days of showing up in a sweaty jersey, to answer a few questions from the media. Of course, we have the 2005 Dress Code to thank for part of this, but some players are going above and beyond the mandated “Business Casual” attire. They instead are wearing button downs, ties, hankies, blazers and this year’s favorite, the glasses. Lots of players are rocking frames as the ultimate accessory. The Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder are both holding their weight in uplifting the images of ballers. Here are a few shots of looks we’ve seen this season from players like Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Russell Westbrook, and Kevin Durant.
