As the timer counts down until the release of French Montana’s “Excuse My French” album, the anticipation and buzz is only getting stronger. In preparation for the debut album drop on the 21st of this month, French Montana took to his hometown New York, where he hosted a complete listening party for a venue full of industry insiders, listeners and executives. The listening session, held at HILO night lounge in Meat Packing district just a few days ago included celebrity guests such as Wale, Stalley, Eve, Kaylin Garcia, Rene Graziano and more. There is some new music making it’s way to the women side of Hip-Hop. As one of the greatest females to touch the mic, Eve is continuing to place more power to her comeback. With her album Lip Lock set to drop on May 14^th, Eve is doing appearances and dropping videos consistently. Showing off a short hair cut and a yellow fitted dress, last night Eve appeared on Jimmy Fallon to perform “Make It Out This Town” with a little help from Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship. The social media space has been getting the occasional drop here and there from former Ruff Ryder rap star Eve. The talented lyricist dropped the single “She Bad Bad” assisted with video a few months back in preparation of her approaching album “Lip Lock”. This will be Eve’s fourth studio album, coming after her 2002 release of Eve-Olution and then a lengthy hiatus. Well now she is back offering her listeners an entire preview of the Lip Lock album that consists of 12 all original tracks. Miss EVE has resurfaced her career, and by any means, will not fall under again. The former 1st lady of Ruff Ryders is back today to drop the new track “Make It Out Of This Town“. Rapping it up about taking risks, not thinking you can, but picking yourself up, dusting your self off and “making it out”. The cut features singer Gabe Saporta and is very inspirational.
