French Montana stopped by Power 105.1′s the breakfast club to discuss a variety of topics including his alleged relationship with Trina, the shooting that happened outside of his bus and Max B potentially getting an appeal to his 75 year sentence. The news Friday morning was about a drive by shooting that occurred outside of French Montana’s concert in Philadelphia in which one person was killed and another was harmed. French has spoken out letting us know that he was not involved with the shooting. Check out more after the jump…

A 27-year-old was shot in the abdomen and later died in a Philadelphia hospital following a drive-by shooting near French Montana’s tour bus follow a show at Philly’s Theatre for Living Arts. From Billboard:

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 28) as the entourage had arrived at a hotel near Penn’s Landing after the rapper had headlined a sold-out show at the Theatre of Living Arts. Philadelphia police Chief Inspector Scott Small said a crowd formed around the bus, a car pulled up and someone began shooting.

“A large crowd of fans, as well as some of the entourage, were loitering and just hanging out,” Small told reporters. He said one man may have fired back.

Police believe neither Montana nor any member of his entourage was the target of the attack, but French vented his frustrations via Instagram with the caption, “Nobody got time for this shit.”

As with anything – and as cold as it probably will read – the tour will move on. I wouldn’t be surprised if French acknowledges the young man in some fashion who was murdered at his show in Boston tonight.

Last week French Montana dropped his behind the scenes footage and pictures on the set of the new hit single “Freaks”, a vivacious reggae styled track that features Nicki Minaj and samples cuts from Lil Vicious and “Murder She Wrote”. Well the footage was great, but what many fans wanted to see was Nicki behind the scenes, and I don’t think they were ready. The American Idol host drops her own BTS video wearing nothing but star pasties on her chest and a gold jacket.. Read more and check the video after the jump!

The clock is ticking, and days are slowly but surely fading from the calendar until May comes around. May 21st that is, they day that the highly anticipated album “Excuse My French” from rapper French Montana will debut. French Montana has been the talk of the town lately (well, the internet world) especially with the drop of his new track “Freaks” which features the beautiful Nicki Minaj.
