Soul singer Jacob Banks who ascended onto the scene just over a year ago under the wings of MTV UK’s number 1 rapper Wretch 32 warmed living rooms all around the UK last night with his appearance on BBC’s 2 Later With Jools Holland.

Jacob Banks quite beautifully conveyed struggle, worth and pain all in just over 3mins for his latest serving. ‘Worthy’, taken from his incredible EP,  ’The Monologue’ is one of the most poignant songs on the EP.

Straight after releasing his long awaited EP; The Monologue, Jacob Banks headed over to the BBC Radio 1Xtra for a Live Lounge Session with DJ Trevor Nelson. Accompanied by the exceptional guitarist Abbas Shah and Emlyn Maillard on the keys, two backing vocalist who sound so perfectly pitched, the afternoon listener were in for a treat.
