The Harlem beat rocker Vado, affiliated and known for his many releases under the Dipset movement and numerous tracks with Camron like “Speakin In Tongues” is back with some new heat for the New York streets this cold winter. Vado who has officially escaped from his label deal over at Interscope and is now a free agent, released today the third half of his mixtape file “Slime Flu 3″. Jae Millz is back and ready to hit the world with his latest installment of his “Flood” mixtape series. Here is the first offering from the mixtape which will be called “The Flood: Category 5” and is set to drop on Friday, August 19th. Produced by Jahlil Beats and features Birdman who doesn’t have a verse but plays hypeman as Millz handles the verses. “Nothing Is Promised” coming soon.
After a few setbacks and health problems, Jae Millz is loaded up and ready to give the world his long awaited album “Nothing Is Promised“. To get things going, here is his first single from the album and it features none other than his boss Lil Wayne. I’m anxious to see how this Millz album will sound being that he’s been working on it for quite some time now. If it’s anything like I envision it to be, it’ll be nothing less than great. I had never heard of NBC’s Nitecap before this, but it’s not half bad. The show’s host Peter Bailey caught up with Young Money’s Harlem transplant Jae Millz. Millz opens up about the seizure that nearly took his life – in his sleep, at that – last summer. That incident has since become the inspiration behind his new album, Nothing Is Promised, set to drop later this year.
Weezy’s work ethic is also a topic of discussion. He says that it motivates him to see a millionaire in the studio every night still acting like he is artist trying to catch his first big break. The near 10 minute clip also centers around Jae’s working relationship and budding friendship with Chris Brown as well as the XXL Freshman controversy from last year.
