A new unofficial video for Kanye West’s “Way Too Cold” (also known as “Theraflu“) has hit the blogs and is doing damage. After watching this kid portrayed as a grade school Kanye, I don’t think we need to see an original from Yeezy. The video was directed by Ashley Smith, who goes by the name “Ash Innovator.” All the video was missing was a grade school DJ Khaled cameo. A couple of weeks ago, amidst the controversy behind his leaked ‘Way Too Cold‘ track and news about a relationship with Kim Kardashian shorty after, a statement was made that Kanye West believes Kim is his very own Beyonce. It is easily understood that people associated with either camp or publications will create news just to talk, which USWeekly seems to have done… yet again. Yeezy says:

I would never compare anyone to my friends wife.. Come on now that doesn’t even sound like me. If I don’t say something in  a rap or on Twitter, it’s not true.

Respect for Jay and Bey outweighs the media at the end of the day. It only make sense!

My oh my, are we getting spoiled with these treats. As the G.O.O.D. Music troop continues to make headlines with their forthcoming album, one can only continue to get excited with the many photographed moments of in studio candids. Above, Kanye West and Future are photoed. Wonder what planet we’ll be taken to for this song.

Back on April 4th, Kanye West dropped the track ‘Theraflu,’ addressing his love for Kim Kardashian, and took shots at Kris Humphries in the process. After the track and artwork were revealed, the makers of Theraflu released a statement expressing their disapproval of the track:

“We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner.

Since the statement from Threaflu Kanye has released new artwork and changed the name of the controversial track to “Way Too Cold“.

Legal action was not threatened, but who knows what went on behind the scenes and this is surely the best way to prevent anything like that from happening. You would think Kanye would get the consent from such a large company before releasing such explicit content. But then again, it is Kanye.

PR stunt some of you say? No way! In this weeks US Weekly, news is shared that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are indeed perfect for each other, so perfect that he believes she could be his very own Beyonce?

“It’s not a PR stunt,” the source insists of the rapper and reality star. “They’re perfect for each other. He thinks she’s his Beyonce!”

 

West pursued Kardashian “for a long time,” another source says — the stars were finally aligned for the twosome (who share a fondness for luxury and the spotlight) to finally get romantic. “Now that Kim has gotten over the Kris drama . . . she sees how much Kanye loves her,” a Kardashian source tells Us.

We’re not one to disagree with West, or for love at that, but hey… we’re happy for the both of them and think a lot can come from this relationship. Questions are now being raised if he will appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It’s cute that they keep it with the K’s.

Twitter tells us EVERYTHING. XXL Magazine Editor in Chief  informed the world via social media less than an hour ago, “It’s official: Q-Tip signs to G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam. #Queens.” This was shortly thereafter confirmed by a statement from the rapper himself saying,

“I’m excited to be a part of the great iconic Def Jam label,  I’m humbled to be a part of such a storied history. To reconnect with Barry Weiss is a great thing. As far as G.O.O.D. Music, I’m excited to solidify my working relationship with Kanye, and I look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead in our partnership. I will do my best to present the most cutting edge music I can.”

So, that’s another extraordinary artist added to the already stellar G.O.O.D. Music Roster. Does that mean we can expect a few bars from Q-Tip on a possible “Mercy” Remix? Or maybe just a few features on the upcoming album from the entire label? Either way, I think we all miss music from Q-Tip and are excited about his future.
