Art has been buzzing in the city of Miami this past weekend, as artist and celebritites alike are showcasing some of their greatest and latest pieces during the various Art Basel’s in the palm-tree city. Kanye West was no stranger to this territory, as celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce and Jay Z were also in town. Kanye had a chance to surpise a good friend, Pharell, at his Q&A session. Of course in Kanye “Ima let you finish” fashion, the famed rapper blurted out his question to Pharell who was promoting his new book “Pharrell: Places and Spaces I’ve Been“. We finally get a glimpse at Kanye West’s premiere for his short film Cruel Summer at the Cannes Film Festival last week in a seven-screen cinema, custom-built for the debut. This family paid Jay and ‘Ye £4 million pounds to perform their Watch The Throne hits at their daughter’s Sweet 16 birthday party. They were flown out to Dubai for the party two weeks before Christmas. Just in case you were wondering, £4 million pounds converts into about $6,265,737.32 USD, which means Jay-Z and Kanye pocket a little over $3 million a piece. I’m done talking about it…

‘The Throne’ broke their record in L.A. last night for the most performances of “Niggas In Paris.”

Ye and Hov, who are said to be shooting a video for it today, previously performed the track six times in Detroit and three times in Atlanta.

On Tuesday, they hit TEN at the Staples Center.

Karen, who attended yesterday’s show and Monday’s, has already heard it 17 times.

Do you remember the day you caught wind on the rumor mill about a Jay-z and Kanye West album? Now do you remember when it was confirmed, how excited you became for hip hop again? Their avant-garde approach to releasing Watch The Throne has been an experience of it’s own, but now they’re really throwing you for a loop!

From going against the music industry’s grain and dodging all leaks to holding listening sessions in a planetarium to now opening their very own pop-up store to sling copies of the album. Located in Manhattan’s trendy SoHo, 201 Mulberry Street, is wrapped in gold like the album’s Riccardo Tisci-designed cover art. But the real eye candy is inside, the duo are putting the innovative Maybach from their “Otis” video on display inside of the retail space.

Rumors are swirling that Hov will make an appearance sometime tonight. For fans stopping by the Mulberry Street store, it will be open on Friday until 10 p.m., on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
