8. Kid Cudi – Indicud – 36,000 – Following a few listens, this album personally didn’t do much for me. It’s selling well, so congrats to buddy for that. “Pursuit Of Happiness,” however, is one of the most important life songs of the past decade though. No hyperbole. (more…)

After departing from his G.O.O.D Music family a few weeks back, Kid Cudi continues to build buzz for his upcoming album. Today he let’s go of some new material featuring the hottest MC in the game, Kendrick Lamar. This is by far one of the heavily anticipated tracks off of the album (for obvious reasons). “Indicud” hits stores April 23rd. Audio after the jump.

Kid Cudi recently wrapped up an interview for Power 106 and before ending the interview, he made an announcement that I don’t think many people seen coming. Cudi announced that he is no longer apart of Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D Music family. After making the announcement, he quickly puts a stop to any rumors before they can even get started when by saying he has no problems with anyone in the G.O.O.D Music conglomerate and will continue to speak and do records with them. Before there was Wiz Khalifa, before we knew Kid Cudi there was the late, great Jimi Hendrix. Beginning November 26th, the extended footage of Hendrix’s 1969 Woodstock set will hit theatres as a docu-piece called “Hendrix 70: Live at Woodstock.”  For more details on the film and how to get tickets, hit the jump.
