Hip-Hop MC Nas drops the visuals for his new single “Bye Baby,” off of his 10th studio album “Life Is Good”, in stores now. The video goes back to Nas’ reminiscing watching videos of him and his ex-wife’s wedding day and on the good times they shared, while drinking a bottle of MOET. Then he hits an office where they reenact their divorce signing and toasts with his boys.
In the end when it’s all said and done, this video says: “Bye Kelis” – from Nas.
In San Bernardino, California hip-hop MC Nas was one of the headliners this past weekend and Fuse caught up with him backstage to talk about his upcoming video for his song “Bye Baby” off of his “Life Is Good” album which is in stores now. In the interview he talks about being a fan of the original record by Guy, and why he wanted to shoot a video for this particular song. He also states that “the video has a “90′s feeling,” though he admits that wasn’t done intentionally. Personally I can’t wait to see what he has in store with this video. Stay tuned for the drop.
With his Life Is Good album debuting at #1 on the charts, Nas is still out on the road promoting the album to those people who have yet to get a copy of the album yet. The Queensbridge MC Nas celebrated the release of his 10th album “Life Is Good” which released July 17, with a special dinner in New York on Monday night. He spent it with some of his close friends and Brooklyns very own Jay-z stopped by to show love. It’s cool to see the two best MC’s ever supporting one another. Along with him Swizz Beatz, producer No I.D., Hot 97 radio veteran Angie Martinez and Q-Tip, who DJ’d a portion of the evening, attended the event also.
Last night at the intimate West Village’s Bagatelle, Nas hosted a 50-person dinner to celebrate today’s release of his highly anticipated tenth studio album, “Life Is Good”. Guests included Jay and Bey, of course, producer Swizz Beatz, Miguel, and Q-Tip, among other big industry names. The dinner simultaneously served as the inauguration of Moet’s Rosé Lounge Series. We are days away from the highly anticipated “Life Is Good” album from Nas. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the album and every track that he has put out off of the album has been good. Above is an iTunes bonus track off of the album entitled “Trust“, and just as I expected it’s a pretty solid song. Life Is Good n stores July 17th.
