The Queen B is back in the headlines, but this time it’s not for her “Mixtape” or for dissing female rappers. This time around, it is to let everyone know that she will be the newest member of the Universal Music Group. There has been no official announcement of Lil Kim joining the team nor any word as to who she will be signed to specifically, but she has been added as an artist to the Universal Music Group roster. Is the Queen B officially back? Well, we’ll have to wait until she puts out some new music under the label to fully answer this question.

What started as Keyshia Cole venting about not being nominated for any BET awards ended being the public dissolving of a friendship. Or what was once thought to be a friendship. Cole and Lil Kim are best known for their 2007 smash hit “Let It Go.” Earlier this year, Kim made brief headlines when she publicly denounced Keyshia’s Nicki Minaj-assisted single “I Ain’t Thru.”

Well, things turned ugly once Cole admitted she and Kim were never friends, merely collaborators. That set off a firebomb of tweets from Kim:

- U got that right. We are not friends. The same way U take friendship seriously i take loyalty serious.

- The whole world has seen me extend my hand to u over and over again.

- Only someone who’s trying to build a sincere relationship does shows 4 free & supports. u did not pay me a dime 4 none of that.

- That warrants some type of loyalty and respect.

- Friend or no friend i would have never let anybody disrespect u on my record but i can’t expect everyone to be as real as i am.

Recently Foxy Brown sat down with Billboard and they talked about numerous topics and of course the highlight of the conversation was Nicki Minaj & Lil Kim. Billboard asked Foxy how she felt about the situation and Foxy replied with this comment about Nicki Minaj: “Nicki has always been cool with me. She and I have something online I did for her — it was a video shoot with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, [when] she wasn’t signed yet.” After Foxy spoke on Nicki, she also gave her insight on how she feels about Lil Kim by saying “it’s like, O.K., Kim, you’ve had a problem with Foxy, you’ve had a problem with Nicki, you’ve had a problem with Faith [Evans], with Charli [Baltimore], with everybody. It’s like, enough already. I choose to stay out of it. Put out great music, and that’s that.” Aside from all of the talk about Nicki and Lil Kim, Foxy says she’s in the studio every night working on her upcoming album entitled ‘Black Roses’. The album will be double disc with one side hip hop and the other side dancehall rock, Foxy says. She is hoping for a August/September release date.

Yesterday, Lil’ Kim released her highly anticipated mixtape Black Friday, for a small price of $9.99. In no more than 28 hours, Kim had posted via her Twitter that she already sold 113K mixtapes and was the top seller on PayPal. Wait, what? I took it upon myself to look further into this matter, because as a PayPal user, somethings just weren’t adding up. While on the phone with multiple representatives, I live tweeted the conversation as it was happening.

Due to the fact that the mixtape was not sold through eBay, eBay reps were unable to assist in the situation. We learned that there is no such thing as being a top seller because information isn’t track in such a way, and that your account must be opened for a certain amount of time in order to receive such a high amount. Further more, if Kim actually made $1,128,870, her amount would’ve been shut down for suspicions of fraud. Also, her bit.ly link has only been clicked 24K+/- times, so… 113K sold? Slow down on the anesthesia and medical cocktails, Kimberly. Biggie didn’t teach you this.
