There is some new music making it’s way to the women side of Hip-Hop. As one of the greatest females to touch the mic, Eve is continuing to place more power to her comeback. With her album Lip Lock set to drop on May 14^th, Eve is doing appearances and dropping videos consistently. Showing off a short hair cut and a yellow fitted dress, last night Eve appeared on Jimmy Fallon to perform “Make It Out This Town” with a little help from Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship. The social media space has been getting the occasional drop here and there from former Ruff Ryder rap star Eve. The talented lyricist dropped the single “She Bad Bad” assisted with video a few months back in preparation of her approaching album “Lip Lock”. This will be Eve’s fourth studio album, coming after her 2002 release of Eve-Olution and then a lengthy hiatus. Well now she is back offering her listeners an entire preview of the Lip Lock album that consists of 12 all original tracks. EVE is back again to drop another freestyle in light of the approaching release for her new album Lip Lock. This time the beast of a female rapstress drops some mean lyrics on Big Sean’s new single “Guap”. In the back of your minds we know some Eve’s previous freestyle’s were questionable, but this remix here is SERIOUS! It’s good to hear Eve is gearing up for a return. She had that song with T.I. a few years back and after that I hadn’t much, if anything, from her since. The First Lady of Ruff Ryders caught up IAmNotARappaTV to speak about her upcoming album Lip Lock and the features she already has locked down including Akon, Flo-Rida, Chiddy Bang, MSTRKRFT, Trina and more.

She also speaks highly on Nicki Minaj for her ability to do what she has done in a business dominated by the opposite sex. And lastly, she touches on everyone’s favorite mythical album, Detox.
