Hope everyone’s Memorial Day is going well and that you’re either at a cookout now or on your way to one. Anywho, Banks dropped this track over the weekend and it dropped yesterday in three crucial categories:
– Full
– Dirty
– CDQ (what up, Matt?!)
Let’s be honest, no one wants a clean radio snippet. Right? Loso and Lloyd team up once again to wax poetic lyrics about the ever-important quest for never ending money. I’m not sure where the final destination for this track will be although I’m about 70% sure it’ll land on Banks’ new Cold Corner mixtape.

Promotion never stops and Lloyd Banks is gearing up to release his next project, his Cold Corner 2 mixtape. Blue Hef’s latest leak, “Misery,” continues his string of impressive releases only boding well for the tape’s overall quality. The beat is cold and dark and G-Unit’s most lyrical member weaves in and out of this beat similar to how Chris Paul did the Lakers‘ defense last night.
In related news, 50 said his new single is coming later this week. It’s not 2002 all over again, but it is damn good to see The Unit hungry and releasing quality music again.

It’s been nothing but work for Young Chris since making the deal with Division 1 official. The Re-Introduction was the icebreaker. Now, the focus appears to center around his forthcoming solo album. No word on if “Flatline” is slated to appear on the still untitled project, but if it is, consider this an insane first impression. The record is produced by Cardiak - better known as the man behind Lloyd Banks’ “Start It Up“.
Chris appears energized as he kicks the record off with a sharp offering, highlighted by the sports references ranging from everyone from Blake Griffin to Kemba Walker. If that isn’t enticing enough, the aforementioned Lloyd Banks rides shotgun with a flow that’s just as dizzying as it is cold.
Much respect to the overseer of Chris’ music, his A&R Wayno, for sending this gem through.

In the latest segment of SoulCulture TV’s My Favorite Verse series, Lloyd Banks reveals his favourite verse as his infamous 2002 freestyle over Biggie Smalls’ “Victory.â€
Read More“It has its own special significance to me because it was the first record I was able to perform,†he recalls. “It wasn’t even from an album, it was on a mixtape – it also got me my first cheque outside of G Unit… If I can have a wish in Hip Hop it would be to trade raps with Biggie Smalls – that was the closest I got to that.â€
I was trying to hold off until the actual video was released, but this song is dope and any light I can help shed on it is a win-win. Follow Lloyd Banks, Â Jeremih, 50 Cent and more on the behind the scenes look into the PLK’s next visual, “I Don’t Deserve You.”
The final product airs this Sunday only MTV.com and ThisIs50.com. And KarenCivil.com, too. Hunger For More 2 is in stores now. Better yet, click here. You don’t have even leave the couch.
