Mr. “Pretty Flacko” himself, A$AP Rocky took a trip uptown to deliver his new album LongLiveA$AP to Black Star Music and Video on the historic Lenox Avenue in his hometown of Harlem, New York for a small, listening session with his team and most importantly, his fans. “We could have gone to Virgin, we could have gone to Best Buy, but we chose to come here and why not? This is where we from.” Much love A$AP! Always dope when a ‘hometown hero’ shows gratitude to their old hood. LongLiveA$AP is set to hit stores on January 15th. Welp, it looks like everyone will have to wait until 2013 to hear the long awaited LongLiveA$AP, the debut album from A$AP Rocky. Hit the jump to see what Rocky disclosed to WiLD 94.9‘s Nessa about his upcoming album.

The A$AP Mob compilation, “LongLiveA$AP” due in September, has had the blogosphere talking for quite a while now. In an interview with Fuse, Rocky himself took the responsibility of hyping up the project, calling it “the most passionate thing I ever did” and claiming, “Nobody’s project is going to be touching this ’cause it’s not just like hip-hop. This is a revolution, I embarked on something new.” Rocky dropped A$AP Mob, A$AP Yams, Bryan Leach, and Chase Infinite as some insight into feature work, while also touching on his UK documentary, set to air in London on prime time news.
