Hit studio producer and record label executive Danja has dug deep into his archives today to share a special remixed track. As apart of Danja’s new weekly tradition titled “Throwback Track Thursday”, the hit-maker goes into his vault of records and releases remixes and exclusive never heard before projects that didn’t make album cuts. In case your channels were tuned in somewhere else, tonight was the airing of BET’s annual Rip The Runway Fashion Show; a show that highlights the latest in fashion trends from designers like Louboutin & Moschino. The show also collides with the hottest in music, where superstar singers and rappers perform right alongside models strutting down the runway. This years show was hosted by the beautiful Kelly Rowland and Real Husbands of Hollywood star Boris Kodjoe. This was definitely a refreshing surprise. R&B Singer Luke James, such a young and phenomenal talent knows just how to keep his image fresh and creative. You won’t find many singers that are signed under prominent labels such as NARS, that hit the streets and give the world a free live show. Luke took to the streets of New York to perform a Acapella version of his sultry smooth track “I.O.U”, accompanied by producer/NARS label owner Danja, who assisted with the beat banged on sidewalk barricades. Emerging R&B singer Luke James, one of the great ones in this new generation of music, hits hard today with a vigorously smooth track titled “I.O.U.” “With all the love you give to me, how could I ever repay, I owe you”. Very nice concept. Luke’s vocal ability surpasses his age hands down, and this tracks sounds very similar along the lines of an early John Legend. Read more after the jump! (more…)
