And the drama continues…
After rumors swirled for weeks that Atlanta rapper Pill was dropped from Rick Ross’ Maybach Music imprint, he’s speaking out to clear the air.
As previously reported, Karen confirmed that she’d heard whispers of his departure, but Pill denied that he was dropped and called people who believed that “haters.”
Fast forward to last week (Dec. 29) and he released a Twitter rant blaming his label (Warner Bros) for hindering his success.
Now however he’s dropped a bomb concerning the whole thing.
In a recent interview, Pill reached out to MTV to say that he was never really signed to Maybach Music, he was just added to the team by his record label.
He also added that he’s not a “brownnose” and doesn’t have much to say to someone [Ross] who doesn’t have much to say to him.
“I never signed any paperwork with Ross. It was just my deal was over at Warner already…I ain’t really got too much to say to somebody that ain’t got too much to say to me. I’m not a brownnose, I ain’t a punk ass nigga and I’m not finna go trying to chase behind somebody that ain’t sayin’ nothing to me.”
Hmmm, not really signed but rocking that Maybach Music chain daily?
Interesting.

Meek Milly’s back, this time with a track produced by Cardiak.
The track titled “Lean Wit It”is said to be off his upcoming Dreamchasers 2 mixtape.
And while he preps for his next mixtape, his MMG head Rick Ross is set to drop his Rich Forever tape Friday.

Teyana Taylor is kicking off the new year with a new track, this time featuring Wale.
The socialite/singer has released “Make Your Move” featuring the Maybach Music artist.

Atlanta rapper Pill is denying reports that he was dropped from Maybach Music Group.
As Karen previously reported, rumors were swirling that he was dropped from MMG especially after he was spotted without his Maybach Music chain.
“It has yet to be confirmed, but rumor has it that Pill’s been dropped from Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. While label mates, Wale and Meek Mill have achieved solo success, the Georgia native has struggled to find his footing. [...] His recent show at S.O.B.’s in NYC was a bomb according to the Village Voice. And for what it’s worth, he’s been spotted lately without his coveted MMG chain.”
Now according to the rapper himself, those rumors are untrue and he’s still an asset to the Maybach Music Team.
He recently told The Boombox,
“I’m not sure how they started actually [rumors of his departure] I noticed it when people started f—ing with me on Twitter, but I don’t know the source of it. I mean, it is what it is. It’s mostly Twitter — people that follow me or don’t follow me that hate on me daily, and wanna start s—.”
Pill also contends that he, Wale and Meek Mill are already working on their compilation Self Made Vol. 2.
Okay den Pill.
Whatever you say.
