What a very interesting combination of artist for a record. 50 Cent calls on great friend Eminem and the “Moves Like Jagger” Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine for the collaboration that is “My Life”. The My Life trailer features all three international music superstars in the city of Detroit, running for their lives… a metaphor playing on the fear of running from difficulties in life as we all have heard in both Em and 50′s music. With a touch of Adam Levine, “My Life” offers a nontraditional sound sure to bring back the old, hungry “from nothing to something” vibe that we’ve always loved from 50 cent. With the release of debut Shady Records album, Welcome to: Our House, around the corner (sometime in July), the Slaughterhouse crew drops the visual for their first single, “My Life” featuring Cee-lo Green. This song is a certified hit, and its accompanying music video is nothing less than unique. Watch Slim Shady himself star in a hilarious opening scene, followed by some well worked studio shots. I, for one, am pretty excited about this project.
