I had never heard of NBC’s Nitecap before this, but it’s not half bad. The show’s host Peter Bailey caught up with Young Money’s Harlem transplant Jae Millz. Millz opens up about the seizure that nearly took his life – in his sleep, at that – last summer. That incident has since become the inspiration behind his new album, Nothing Is Promised, set to drop later this year.

Weezy’s work ethic is also a topic of discussion. He says that it motivates him to see a millionaire in the studio every night still acting like he is artist trying to catch his first big break. The near 10 minute clip also centers around Jae’s working relationship and budding friendship with Chris Brown as well as the XXL Freshman controversy from last year.
