Mariah Carey hits with some interesting news today. By way of her long time producing collaborator and friend Jermaine Dupri, Mariah has officially announced the titled of her 14th album (among a list of other platinum albums and holiday projects since 1990). The new album goes by the name “The Art of Letting Go” and is set to drop on July 23rd. Of course American Idol acted as a great pedestal for the album release, along side her new smash collabo “Beautiful” with Miguel that she just performed on the Summer Jam XX stage. For all you #lambs out there as Mariah would call you, stay tuned this summer released under Island Records with expected production appearances from The Dream, JD, music industry heavy weights like Rodney Jerkins and more.

In case you were waiting for it, or in the case that you were waiting for all the other great albums to officially drop tomorrow, rapper Mac Miller has carved out his own lane and his new album “Watching Movies With The Sound Off” is all ready to go come tomorrow as well. However, just because tomorrow is right around the corner, that didn’t stop Miller from sharing the entire project with his fans from his interactive website. Joey Bada$$, fresh off the Summer Jam XX festival stage, drops some new talk today in the form of a record titled “95 Til Infinity”. Clearly representing the rap artists birth year until forever, the new cut blares a mystical type beat laced with lyrics from Joey spitting topic to topic about sex with your daughters, to dudes in these streets running their mouths too much. Joey Bada$$’s new EP Summer Knights is set to release at the top of next month in preparation of his big album drop this fall in which you’ll have to stay tuned for. MMG rapper Wale has seemingly taken a break from the pumping out consecutive hits, although we have been given the single “Bad”; Wale’s appearance in the media as slipped. This is all has not gone in vain however, as the “Lotus Flower Bomb” rapper has been in the studio working on his 3rd solo album project, one in which we are sure will be nothing short of a creative masterpiece. Who would have thought it would have been taken this far? One of the hottest song creators around these days, The Weeknd, started off getting loads of views on Youtube from tracks like “What You Need” and since then has not switched up his style. Not only has the XO crooner stayed true to his roots, he has had phenomenal success while doing it and pushed a chart topping album titled “Trilogy” which featured a compilation of cuts from his original projects “Thursday” “House Of Balloons” and “Echos Of Silence”. The Grammy Award winning R&B contemporary album of the year recipient, Frank Ocean, is not done with music despite rumors that the Odd Future singer would quit. Ocean is currently in the UK for the Brit Awards (the British version of the Grammy’s) and made a few press stops to let everyone know what he’s up to. An amazing singer with the beauty to match whose’ voice is as controlled as it comes, yet as strong and clear  as the late Whitney Houston. The Maybach Music recording artist Omarion or “Maybach O” as he is now occasionally referred to, has released the title of his new 4th solo studio album, and first album ever under the Rick Ross owned imprint. Sitting down exclusively with VIBE magazine, Omarion announced that the album will be titled “Love & Other Drugs”, which was named after the 2010 romantic comedy that starred Jack Gyllenhaal, Anne  Hathaway and Judy Greer.
