Some new music here from female rap artist JAX, formerly known as AppleJAX, one you might not be fully aware of, but her rap credentials are valid. JAX hits today with the new track titled “Split It” that strays away from any sound that can be categorized. A nice little synth pad consistently hitting in the background assisted with horns, JAX rips the beat, very cocky like about other females who might not rise to her occasion. New York native singer-producer-lyricst Velous has been making waves nationally with his constant release of quality music to the interwebs, including this new feature with Rapper Torch of MMG. The pair team up to bring fourth the track titled “Pretty Girls”, which depicts “nobody wants an ugly girl, but the pretty girls are nothing but trouble”.
