Woah, this is going to be an insane collaboration; we hope at least. When Nicki Minaj isn’t busy judging on American Idol, she’s in the studio with French Montana putting together some type of music that is sure to be dope. French takes to twitter today and releases the artwork for the two rappers new collaboration “Freaks”. By the look of the artwork which you can view above, this is going to be the perfect amount of ratchet. Just what we were waiting for!

Just days away from the first episode airing of American Idol, in which Miss Minaj will be starring as a celebrity judge, the Young Money queen takes to The Ellen Degeneres show to perform “Freedom”, a classic cut off her recent release of “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re Up”. Nicki is very nervous at this point in her career, as she feels appering on Idol will bring TOO much fame to her life, that she might not be ready for. However, the rapper-singer-business woman-mogul still hit the stage and rocked out a packed audience like we knew she would. Check it out after the jump.

If you’ve been paying attention to Young Money‘s first lady Nicki Minaj, then you would notice that a lot of things have changed with her wardrobe lately. We’re accustomed to seeing Nicki in loud outfits and colorful wigs but now she’s back to a more traditional look being that she’s lost Terrence Davidson who was recently her wig specialist. It’s going to take some getting used to if Nicki’s going to keep this “traditional” look up, but who knows, this may not be permanent.

The rich keep getting richer. According to AHH, Nicki Minaj has inked a pretty lengthy deal with K-Mart and their website ShopYourWay to help promote her own personal clothing line. Along with Nicki Minaj teaming up with K-Mart, Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine also has teamed up with them to boost sales and attract more customers. Congrats to all parties involved, especially K-Mart.

Nicki comments on new deal:

“I am so excited to work with this iconic, mass retailer and to bring affordable fashion to my beautiful barbz all across the U.S.”

After Nicki Minaj had her one month hiatus from Twitter, YMCMB’s first lady tells her barbz, “Stop with the dramatics!!! LMAO. come sit in my lap.” If you recall Nicki deleted her Twitter account in April of last year, only to reactivate it a couple of weeks later. 1. Alicia Keys – Girl On Fire – 159,000 - This doesn’t surprise me. You know, especially considering the album’s title track is played on the radio every five seconds. While I haven’t given this a listen yet, my only hope is that there’s a few solid ballads on there. 

In what seems to be a teeter-totter relationship, Nicki Minaj and New York’s HOT 97 are butting heads once again. After reestablishing their relationship during the annual Summer Jam concert, Nicki is now blaming the station and radio show host Peter Rosenberg for her very poor album sales, therefore she doesn’t want the station playing her music anymore.
