The Queen, Mrs. President Carter, Beyoncé, was in her new home city New York last night for the private screening premiere of her new HBO documentary titled “Life Is But A Dream”. The screening was held at the Ziegfeld Theatre, where all of her hand selected guests including great friend Oprah Winfrey, came to get an exclusive look at the film and an after party celebration DJ’d by sister Solange Knowles. News has been flowing in and the commercial has went live; the idolized songstress Beyoncé will be sitting down next with television mogul Oprah Winfrey for an intimate Next Chapter First Look interview. The interview is scheduled to air this Saturday, the 16th on Oprah’s OWN Network so check out the commercial after the jump!

Last night, the in-depth interview for Oprah‘s “Next Chapter” series kicked off with non other than the beautiful and outspoken Rihanna. Well before Oprah reached out to Rihanna, she first reached out to the legendary Lauryn Hill but for whatever reason, she was turned down. Does it surprise anyone that Lauryn Hill turned down Oprah? Is this the first time Oprah has been turned down? Interesting questions to say the least.

Only Oprah can get an interview like this one. The next celeb to be featured on OWN’s Next Chapter is Good Girl Gone Bad Rihanna. And of course, they talk about what we all wanted them to talk about, that fateful night that happened almost 3 years ago. However, Rihanna shows a side that we’ve never seen before. Oprah has done it again. It seems as if she can get any celebrity to give an intimate, truthful interview on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” It’s Kim Kardashian’s turn, well her and the entire Kardashian Clan. And she has no problem telling what she thinks brought and keeps her and Kanye West together. She even discussion more private matters; like how they share the loss of a parent.

“I can really relate to his mother passing. He can really relate to my father passing. There’s so many similarities in our lives. I feel like I’m at a really happy good space. I don’t know why it took so long for us to get together, but I think I needed to go through all my experiences and some that he’s gone through.”

Sunday night (June 17), Oprah Winfrey confirmed on Twitter to Rihanna fans who tweeted requests for their favorite starlet to gain a sit-down interview with the renowned talk show host that she is scheduled to interview Rihanna for an episode of her Next Chapter series and that the episode will air in August.

Besides an appearance on her talk show in January of 2010 where she performed a rendition of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” for a special episode on Haiti’s earthquake relief efforts, Rihanna has never been interviewed by Oprah in her seven-year career. With all that has gone on with the Barbadian singer over the last few years, we can only imagine what this interview will be like. Interesting doesn’t begin to describe how this will turn out.
