Video: Pac Div feat. Mac Miller – “Black Acura”

Check out the visual from the West Coast duo Pac Div‘s new single, “Black Acura”. Mac Miller joined in on the fun, making for a pretty dope video. Pac Div recently sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss the video and the song off of the new album titled GMB. “The energy behind this song has a very laid back [yet] aggressive feel,” says Pac Div member Mibbs. It’s the perfect medium for what we wanted to convey to the fans: a quiet cockiness.” For the full video, hit the jump.

Last night in the lovely city of Los Angeles, AKOO Clothing and Ciroc held another Power and Beauty book event for T.I. Guests had a feast at Porta Via restaurant along with some yummy signature drink specials such as AKOO-ism, Power & Beauty, and the Grand Hustle, all mixed with the preferred choice of vodka, Ciroc. The Govan Sisters, Matt Barnes, and Pac Div were a few of the celebrities in attendance. Check below for pictures.

Granted, we’re already five months into the year, but I am still interested to see what strides Pac Div can make in 2011. It’s like a lot of people know they are talented (myself included), but a lot of people still have no clue who they are. And that’s a problem. One main reason being that they are a group and I think groups are a dynamic that is missing in today’s game and this ensemble from the Pacific coast is worthy of the attention. They recently completed the Grind-N-Hustle Tour with Young Dro, Mike Bigga (Killer Mike) and Dee-1. Hopefully, if they came to a town near you,  you supported a good show with dope artists. Plus, it’s probably didn’t tax your pocket anyway, so it’s a win-win for all parties involved.

Anyhow, one of Pac Div’s more standout songs is “Anti-Freeze.” Here we have footage of a rather dope performance (and interview, of sorts) of the record at Tammany Hall in Massachusetts. If you’re a stickler for photos like myself, head over to Pocket Full Of Paper for a fix. In the meantime, tell a friend, to tell a friend, to tell a friend about these guys.

It’s amazing a video for this is JUST now surfacing seeing as how it happens to be one of their more popular tracks to date. Between this trio and Nipsey Hussle, however, Cali’s “new blood” gives me the craziest urge to lift weights in my front yard and the coast a buzz it hasn’t seen or felt in years.
