According to E-Online, Pharrell is testing his coaching abilities alongside singer Usher during the battle rounds for season 4 of The Voice. The battle rounds consist of intense knockout competitions of epic vocal proportions, and the contestants need all the help they can get. The Voice‘s fourth season premieres on Monday, March 25 on NBC.
While Lil Wayne’s pockets are on bodybuilder, Pharrell Williams’ pockets are on 40…ounces that is. The N.E.R.D. producer turned designer has a new design for jeans that could easily bring a smile to any man’s face. More details below the jump.
Though Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh have been together for a very long time, it appears as if maybe they have taken the next step in their relationship.

With an impressive resume that includes recent feats such as musical director duties at this year’s Academy Awards, composing the uber-hip soundtrack to 2010′s Despicable Me, and his collaborative upcoming works with such artists like Mac Miller and his i am OTHER artists (Leah LaBelle, Buddy, etc.), superproducer Pharrell Williams does it all creatively and makes it look extremely easy. ASCAP seems to share this sentiment as they selected the Virginia native and one-third of The Neptunes to receive the Golden Note Award at the organization’s 25th Annual Rhythm & Soul Awards on June 29 in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
In response to being picked to become among previous honorees such as Diddy, Stevie Wonder, and Quincy Jones (who is also being honored that night with the prestigious Founders Award), Pharrell says:
It is an honor to receive The Golden Note Award. ASCAP has celebrated some of the greatest musicians of our time with this distinction, and I am humbled to be in their ranks. The work ASCAP has done — and continues to do — to protect and serve music creators is truly remarkable and it is a thrill to be recognized by such a respected institution.

Pharrell Williams has decided to bless us all with new music. Now, the really blessed fans were those who were lucky enough to be in Club Gotha in Cannes who actually heard the new releases live. Mac Miller and Swizz Beatz are each featured on one of the songs. While no song titles are out, you can watch the performance of the tracks by Pharrell in the video above.
Although the rumors of Kanye signing 2 Chainz were false, there is a new member of the G.O.O.D. Music Family. Teyana Taylor, formally signed to Pharrell William’s Star Trek Entertainment, has been close to Kanye and even worked with him on My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy. Teyana promises that we can expect new singles from her in the upcoming weeks. Taylor regained everyone’s attention this summer with her rendition of Drake’s “Marvin’s Room.” She also co-wrote Nicki Minaj’s “Right By My Side.” We’ve also gotten our fair share of Teyana on the movie screen in films like “Madea’s Big Happy Family” and “Stomp The Yard 2.” We know that G.O.O.D., if not great, things are in store from Teyana Taylor.
Still proving to have a style that is unmatched, it’s only fitting that Pharrell Williams be chosen to model for GAP’s Hong Kong campaign launch. With the images being debuted via his BBCIceCream blog a few days ago, we are shown the final shot, featuring Angelababy. The campaign was photographed by the legendary Annie Leibovitz.
