How ill is this?  Alicia Keys stopped in Los Angeles Tuesday night as part of her “Set the World on Fire” Tour with  Miguel. As A.Keys kicked a small melody of Janet Jackson’s “Anytime, Anyplace” for the grand set-up, west coast’s frontrunner Kendrick Lamar came out to finish the track with his new single “Poetic Justice.” He gave the audience another quick surprise by performing his chart-topping hit “Swimming Pools (Drank)” before leaving the stage. It has finally arrived. The visuals to compliment the track that we all have been bumping since the release of “good kid, m.A.A.d city.” Kendrick Lamar and Drake team up for a video that is a true narrative of a modern-day love story. We are taken back to the streets of Compton the “Poetic Justice” video. While Kendrick requested that Janet Jackson appear in the video due to the sampling of her ’90s smash “Anytime Anyplace” , I’d like to think it turned out just fine without her.
