Yesterday was a pretty big day for the R&B superstar The Dream. He released a trailer for his upcoming “IV Play” album as well as the official video to his lead single “Slow Down” featuring Fabolous. Continuing the momentum from yesterday, The Dream made his return to Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club where they discussed the album, the Grammy incident with Jay-Z, album features and a lot more. “IV Play” in stores May 28th.

The Hot 97 interview with Funkmaster Flex and Nicki Minaj got pretty hot and heavy last night, but I’m sure we all knew that wouldn’t be the end all be all of the discussion. This morning, Nicki got a little hungry and joined the New York Power 105 Breakfast Club for a bite of AM drama concerning her cancelled Summer Jam Performance. “What I don’t do is perform in a place that doesn’t respect me,” Nicki said during the interview. She also wanted it to be known that she is in no way attempting to start beef between the two New York stations. Earlier this morning, Wiz Khalifa continued his promo of his O.N.I.F.C album in New York by stopping by to chat with the entertaining trio called The Breakfast Club. In the interview, Wiz discusses his upcoming album, Waka Flocka, Kanye West‘s line about him in Way Too Cold and of course his beautiful wife to be, Amber Rose. This morning, Bow Wow sat down with Power 105′s Breakfast Club to discuss his upcoming project, a conversation he had with best friend and mentor Snoop Dogg, as well as talk about his previous flings. Back in June of ’09, a bit of controversy sparked over a tweet he posted via his Twitter account:

Fellas, don’t you feel like a G when ya ex and another girl u banged or f*cked around with r now friends? boosts my ego up! like daaaayum ima pimp

wat makes it funny i dont think she knows! ha! im laughn lol….

At the time, it could only be determined that he was talking about his then ex, Ciara, and her newest friend Kim Kardashian. However, there was no confirmation or denial from either party, until today. When her name was brought up on if he had sexual relations with her, he responded:

(In response to Envy bringing her name up) I just want to know where you heard that one from… um, we were cool.. (In response to Charlamange asking if [Kim] has gotten better in the bed since Ray-J).. to be honest, I have not seen her or spoke to Kim in 2 or 3 years, but sweet person.. cool peoples.

Joe Budden visits Power 105.1 and they take him to trial to determine if he’s guilty or not. Incase you’ve been missing in action these past two weeks. Joe and his ex-girlfriend Esther Baxter recently split up because of her creeping around with NFL Running Back Derrick Ward. About a week ago, Joe released “OLS3” airing everything out. Shortly after, Esther released pictures as well as did an in depth interview calling Joe a woman beater and stating he killed their daughter during her pregnancy. Above Joe talks about everything and callers decide if he’s guilty.

It’s the elephant in the room some are having the time of their lives talking about, while others are vehemently denying and not discussing altogether. If you don’t know by now, I’m referring to the Mister Cee situation. The story goes that the legendary Cee was arrested last week for “lewd behavior” aka receiving oral sex from a male prostitute in his car. While it was confirmed he was knocked by the cops, the actual charge has yet to be released.  That didn’t stop the Power 105 Breakfast Club crew from having a field day with the subject earlier today.

Well, moments ago, Mister Cee’s colleague and friend, the always opinionated Funkmaster Flex, addressed the situation while taking some shots at the rival station and their handling of the issue. On second thought, maybe “shots” was putting it lightly. Sounding as if he was ready to lead a calvary into war, Flex defended Hot 97′s honor threatening to all but ruin 105 by exposing some secret that sounded explosive to say the least. Confused? It’s similar to the tactic Jay played on “Takeover” before dropping “Superugly.” The whole situation is funny (no pun intended; and “funny” in a “we-still-don’t-know-what’s-really-going-on” way) and one that truly is stuck at a standstill until Cee himself addresses the topic.
