Recently released from the hospital, rapper Lil Wayne has done his first post-illness interview with the prominent Los Angeles based radio station Power 106, where he called in with DJ Felli Fel to talk on many topics that EVERYONE has been dying to get comments on. Wayne finally puts to rest rumors of his health related seizures being caused by drugs, and talks implements his thoughts on the media outlet TMZ, who was viciously trying to report Dwayne Carter as “dead” before his time. Wayne tells Power 106:
By now, everyone knows Kendrick Lamar. Everyone knows Kendrick Lamar dropped arguably Hip-Hop’s finest album of 2012. And pending you’re active on the blog world and/or Twitter universe, you know Lil Wayne was one of the guests K. Dot brought out this past weekend at Power 106′s Cali Christmas concert. An obvious form of respect and recognition from two different generations of rap, indeed, but what’s even more intriguing is the history many have either forgotten or were unaware of totally.
