Standing alongside Pusha-T, Malice, and Ab-Liva as the newest member of the Re-Up Gang, Asaad pushes forward on his own two feet.  Jumanji Flow, which he also produced, was inspired by a lucid dream and recorded as a direct stream of consciousness.  This is his first official video, to be followed by his latest project “New Black History Month” on the 28th.  It will not only pay homage to J. Dilla and Carter G. Woodson in respect to the month, but also celebrate the young entrepreneur’s own label, New Black.  If you haven’t been keeping up with him yet, now’s the time to jump on board.  Are you feeling the Jumanji Spirit?

Last night the Good Folks over at Vice.com held a screening for the new comedy Project X and to accompany the party A Project X After party with live performances. A series of screening are being held across the country with shows by Pusha T & MGK afterwards.

Pusha T unleashes the official visuals for one of my favorite tracks of 2011. This appeared on Pusha’s Fear of God II: Lets Us Pray EP that dropped back in November. Video directed by Jason Goldwatch. Go grab that EP if you haven’t already.

After creating an interesting but good record together a while back, Pusha hooks up with Tyler, The Creator once again for his newest track that appeared on Play Cloths holiday mixtape.

1. Drake – Take Care – 631,000 - Considering Thank Me Later did roughly 447K first week, it is safe to say Aubrey has not hit the sophomore slump.

11. Childish Gambino – Camp – 52,000 - You know, in all actuality, this number may be more surprising than Drake’s. Then again, the guy is on TV, so it is not exactly like he is this unknown rapper running around attempting to win people over. Still, congrats to that man on putting up these numbers.
