Lil Wayne Addresses on Pusha T Issues

While he is quick to say he doesn’t apologize, Lil Wayne is addressesing the Pusha T issues and why he handled things the way he did. Wayne spoke out on the issue in a recent interview and had the following to say. He first speaks on his current work, and then addresses the Pusha T situation.

“I just finished recording my “I Am Not a Human Being II” album. And we’re starting to work on the Young Money album. It really wasn’t no beef, you know. It was just me. I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction. I don’t apologize for it because I’m human. But it was just my human reaction. I don’t take it back. But there’s no beef. Beef is a whole different thing. … I’ll move on.”

He is quick to clarify that there is no beef which seems to mean it will not be an on-going issue. If you missed “Ghoulish,” which is being considered Wayne’s diss to Pusha T, you can listen below.

Video: G.O.O.D Music feat. 2 Chainz – “Mercy”

To compliment their first single from the upcoming group collaboration, G.O.O.D Music along with 2 Chainz unleashes the official video to “Mercy“. Not sure where the video was shot but I would imagine it’s somewhere overseas. Directed by Nabil. Look out for G.O.O.D Music’s “Cruel Summer” album later this summer.

The Dream feat. Pusha T – “Dope Bitch”

As promised, The Dream comes through with a brand new track right before the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics game tips off. Pusha T lends a helping hand to The Dream as he lays down a verse in return from what Dream did with the controversial but dope “Exodus 23:1”. No word as to if this will appear on Dream’s upcoming “Love IV” album but the track was well needed by his fans.

2012: The Year of the Rap Beef: Big Sean Addresses Lil Wayne & Pusha T Beef; Brian McKnight vs. Chris Brown

I think 2012 will be referred to as the year of the beefs…Iggy Azalea vs. Azealia Banks. Well, come to think of it, Azealia Banks vs. the entire world. Chris Brown vs. Meek Mill. Drake vs. Pusha T, which shifted into Lil Wayne vs. Pusha T. Now, Big Sean, Pusha T’s G.O.O.D. Music labelmate, has spoken out on the beef surrounding the G.O.O.D. Music vs. Young Money artists. In an interview with Casey from Philly’s Wired 96.5, he shared his opinions on the situation. To sum it all up, he doesn’t support it, and he actually shows them both a little love in the video. You can watch the entire interview above.

In other beefing news, the newest beefers on the block are Chris Brown and Brian McKnight. I know, odd enough without even taking time to explain, but here goes. So, we all heard the infamous “Show Me How Your P**** Works,” but that didn’t seem to satisfy Mr. McKnight’s nasty side. He just recently released a jingle for YouPorn; and it even features classy lyrics like “You wanna see some f–king anal, I can get you close enough to smell.” Oh, but wait, there’s more. Following the release of the jingle, fans went crazy on twitter and Brian responded with the following messages to them.

Since everyone’s so opinionated I’m taking suggestions on what I should do next I’m thinking rent a lambo and beat the shit outta my girl…That’s acceptable these days

Or maybe have sex with a 14 year old girl on film it, that’s acceptable these days

Or let the court system let me make 35 million before I do my 87 days in a private cell for domestic abuse that’s acceptable these days

It’s not shade I’m just reminding all of us what we accept on a daily basis

Let’s see, that’s Chris Brown, R. Kelly, and Floyd Mayweather. We all know Floyd can’t respond; since he just began his 87 day prison sentence for assaulting his ex-girlfriend. R. Kelly may not choose to respond, but Chris leaped at the opportunity. Check out these tweets he sent afterward.

Looks like things will be really hot this summer, but you can rest easy knowing that karencivil.com will keep you up on everything you need to know.

New Music: Lil’ Wayne Feat. Big Sean “My Homies Still”

YMCMB and G.O.O.D. Music have really been at each other necks for the past week courtesy of Pusha T and Lil’ Wayne. But instead of a crew vs. crew battle, Wayne still enlists Big Sean for the first single of his 10th studio album I Am Not A Human Being II, with the hit “My Homies Still.” The song features two verses from each artist as they go back-and-forth on the Streetrunner and Sarom-produced track.

Also check out what Mack Maine had to say to MTV News about the collaboration and the beef between Pusha T and Lil Wayne in the video below.

“It’s not like that. I don’t see it like that. That’s not what we in the game for. If it ever came to that, God forbid, that’s a whole different story, but right now we’re just tryin’ to get paper, we’re just tryin’ to get money, man, and make good music. And that was a great song that was made before that situation happened, and I’m not ’bout to go into the studio and tell Wayne to take [Big Sean] off. Wayne not tryna take him off — he’s good peeps, he’s fam.”

With the song debuting last week, tweets exchanged, and many of us expressing our thoughts, Pusha T drops the visuals for Exodus 23:1. Does this mean we might get some new visuals from Lil’ Wayne for his beef-driven Ghoulish track? Only time will tell.
