The west coast native brings in some of the heaviest names in heavy weight rap for this new freestyle track titled “Cypher”. When we mention to you the vibe of authentic old school freestyle cyphers, this is the definition of it. We have actually beent talking about this EP since original Wu-Tang rapper Raekwon had been dropping sneak preview tid bits from it every week. The EP “Lost Jewlery” has dropped on the interweb today and should do great in numbers. The project full of fresh raps and real rap features the likes of Freddie Gibbs, Maino, Faith Evans and more. Original Wu-Tang MC Raekwon returns today to release a new track titled “Never Can Say Goodbye”. Featuring an old-school 60′s flowing beat, Raekwon spits off real lyrics as naturally as it seems. This is a really great Hip Hop sounding track sampled from the orginial “Never Can Say Goodbye” song by The Jackson 5. Check it out after the jump!

Rapper Raekwon from the group Wu-Tang drops this grity, tough New York sounding remix to the track “Who Shot Ya”. Seperating the real from the fake, Raekwon lets everybody know who’s here to stay on. From his album fourth studio album “Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang,” available everywhere now, Wu-Tang Clan-member Raekwon releases the visuals for his track “Scroll.” The visual takes Rae to the streets of the Netherlands, in the previously unreleased video. Above is where you can check it out.

20 years is a long time. I, myself won’t even turn 20 until near the end of the year, but that’s how long legendary MC Raekwon has been in the game. As you all know, the man recognized for making classics for the streets while captivating a worldwide audience as part of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan as well as a solo artist has been able to do what many have thought of and few have accomplished: Longevity, consistency and survival. Lasting 20 years in a cutthroat industry spanning over two generations of hip-hop while continuously being relevant for making new music as opposed to living off the hits in the past is something rare in this current world of music we live in. Consistency because you as you move into the future, all kinds of factors get in the way such as age, physical and mental fatigue, and an ever-growing fan base that could grow tired of something and move onto the next at any given moment. Rae’s never had that problem as even though he’s still making music, he launched his own ICEH20 label not too long ago hoping to supply the future of hip-hop with a few of his own in JD Era and Camoflauge. He’s certainly found a way to leave his mark. Survival? You get fed to the wolves when you enter the rap game. Only the strong survive.
