As if releasing your album the same days as one of your favorite rappers isn’t enough, J.Cole continues to keep us on our toes for the highly anticipated release of his sophomore album, Born Sinner. Though we’ve been taking a listen to a couple of the tracks off of the new project, the buzz has been swarming around “Let Nas Down,” an emotional ode to how Cole disappointed his favorite rapper when all he wanted to do was be just like him. For all you lovers of everything “Cole World”, we’ve got some great news. Roc Nation rapper J.Cole, fresh off the CRWN stage interviewing with Hip Hop official Elliot Wilson, has just dropped some tour dates for all of you rap go-ers to go crazy over (the tickets cost nothing, so listen up after the jump). The tour consists of 10 dates throughout the United States and Canada, and will kick off on June 11th, right before Cole’s “Born Sinner” album drops on June 18th; which we are all VERY excited for. Hot off the radio presses, Jay-Z drops “Open Letter,” supposedly recorded soon after Jay-Z and Beyonce returned from Cuba, in a trip that caught the attention of political bigwigs.

“Open Letter” does touches the issue, among other recent business endeavors over a jazzy lil’ headnodder, produced, allegedly, by both Swizz Beats and Timbaland.

Today marks the day of the 54th Annual Grammy Award Show in Los Angeles, CA. Tons of celebrities are packing out venues all throughout the area, and showing love to the most respected figures in music. Some of the biggest parties of the year are happening, including yesterday’s Roc Nation Pre-Grammy award Brunch. Tons of singers and actors piled in the Soho House for the Jay-Z Label imprint celebration including Rihana, Beyonce, Melanie Fiona, Gabrielle Beauvais, Kelly Rowland and more.
