It’s finally arrived! Every year, the hip-hop community patiently awaits to see who will make the cut and who got snubbed from one of the most impactful nods in the hip-hop game. From Kendrick Lamar‘s career taking new heights, and fans in uproar about King Chip missing from last year’s inductees, debates stirred about whether this group of newly exposed talent was beginning to fall off. But judging by the XXL Freshman Class 2013, critics and competition may be keeping silent. Most of you may be able to identify who’s who of the 2013 Freshman Class, but hit the jump to peep the full list.

Schoolboy Q follows up the release of his first single “Yay Yay” by performing it for the first time during Boost Mobile and Sneaker Pimps Battle Royale Event. Luckily for us, DJ Skee got it all on camera. Schoolboy’s debut “Oxymoron” set to release later this year.

Kendrick started things off for the TDE crew with an incredible debut album and now Schoolboy Q is the next up to grab the torch and run. Much like myself, I’m sure everyone else has been waiting on some new solo material from Q, and today we get a brand new track from him. Track is produced by Boi-1da and is off of Q’s upcoming “Oxymoron” album. Audio after the jump.

We might as well go ahead and officially make this Monday “National Kendrick Lamar Day”. With Good Kid, m.A.A.d City in stores today, there are a lot of bonus tracks available with purchases at different places. What we have here are two remixes done by Kendrick’s TDE family. Yesterday “Page 31” had a chance to catch up with TDE (Minus Kendrick Lamar), and the question was asked about a potential TDE group album and the dominant answer was no. Sadly, the group says that they will not be releasing a joint album. Not sure if they will stick with this decision throughout their careers but as of right now, we have to live with individual tracks or featured based songs from TDE.

Recently released CurT@!n$ finally drops some new music, titled “RutHLe$$,” off of his long-awaited new project, “Dior & Jordans,” could possibly be on the way soon. He teams up with TDE‘s ScHoolboy Q and they both go hard over a Notorious B.I.G sample on the hook, and they both keep it trill as usual. Below after jump is where you can listen to the track.

Early this summer while in Brooklyn New York at Prospect Park hip-hop artists Danny Brown, Childish Gambino & ScHoolboy Q take the stage and kick a lil freestyle for the crowd. Also thanks to Deal With No Deal, everyone can take a look at the freestyle session that took place during the show. Danny starts it off, followed by Gambino then ScHoolboy, and they all get busy.
