Sir Michael Rocks sat down with Serm over at TheSermonsDomain to discuss his upcoming EP and all of the aspects that inspired the tape. I’ll let Serm take it from here:

While at an in-store signing at Recess in Seattle’s U-District, Sermon’s Domain got the opportunity to chop it up with Mikey extensively about this upcoming Banco EP, from the details of his recordings to some of the features and production we can expect. We also talk about working with Choo Jackson on “Money Came,” being able to link up with so many hot producers, upcoming “Lost Boys” record with Mac Miller and Trinidad James, giving away free music and more.

Sir Michael Rocks Announces New Album + New Music Titled ‘Now You Do’

Sir Michael Rocks, one half of The Cool Kids, has plans set in stone to make 2012 his as he prepares to release his newly announced album ’Lap of Lux‘. This will serve as a follow up to his 2011 project, ‘Premier Politics 1.5‘ and will have features from Casey VeggiesMac Miller, production from Hit-Boy, and more. He has chosen one of the tracks called ‘Now You Do‘, produced by Flosstradamus, to stream until the release hits us on August 2nd. Hit the jump to view the official tracklisting.

It seems like every track Jeremih has been featured on lately has been a hit on the charts. From recent tracks with Wale and Diggy Simmons, Jeremih is featured on Sir Michael Rocks‘s “Miss Jane,” which appeared on his Premier Politics mixtape.
