Currently on his Live From The Underground tour, Big K.R.I.T. drops off a visual for “Me & My Old School” off his latest mixtape, 4eva N A Day. Watch the Michael Artis-directed video featuring Slim Thug and Lil Keke after the jump. After seeing K.R.I.T. live for the first time last night, I must say he is also one hell of a performer.

It suddenly feels like 2005 all over again. While Thugga released this track yesterday for his “Thug Thursday” series, Slim, Paul Wall and Bun B sound at home any day of the week. You’ll recognize the sample on the hook from Slim’s verse from the classic “Still Tippin’” from years past, and the rest of the record finds the three Houston Texans (Port Arthur for Bun) doing what they do best. It’s nothing introspective. Rather, it is a nice song heading into the weekend.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, Slim has been releasing quite the chunk of music recently. A new project on the way, perhaps?

This just in. Victor Ortiz just apologized to Floyd Mayweather again.

Seriously, it was only a matter of time before Hip Hop capitalized off Ray J’s now infamous Power 105 interview. You know, aside from making it a trending topic on Twitter. There were too many quotables for it not to be used in some capacity. Well, the wait is already over. Houston’s own Slim Thug was talking about this on Twitter and let loose of the final product with Brandy’s brother in all of his glory serving as the track’s sample. I’m not sure if this is from an upcoming mixtape or whether Thugga just fell inspired by Ray J’s meltdown.

Either way, take it and add it to your archives or use it as inspiration to go back and listen to the interview all over again.
